A complete original idea... honest!

Description

The Protectors are a specialized group with advanced computational brains used for rescues and quick assist situations. Due to an accident during their creation, they do not have an organic brain like the rest of the Zapbots have. Because most of their computational matrix is a computer they have very little personality. Their computation abilities are similar to the Smartabots but unlike that team, there is no Gestalt form.

Generation 1

Behind the Scenes

This I can say was an original idea I had that I came up with myself.

I recently found early sketches and I think I had the idea of the Protectors being similar to the Duocons (the robots that split into two different vehicles.) I think this was changed later in the process.
