At this stage of the friendship, Alan began to become more involved with his religion and in turn started to question Anthony's leadership. This starts to form cracks in the relationship.

Robot Trek I

Alan was in charge of the scheduling of retrofits for the major Zapbot cities (Fortress Misslemax, Duplaflex and Omega Dupreme.) His miscalculation led to the Zapbots being at a tactical disadvantage during a battle, causing massive damage to Fortress Misslemax. Anthony then relieved Alan from duty due to his insubordination.

Robot Trek II

Out of frustration for his demotion, Alan steals the Matrix of Leadership (and his Tri-Star body) and with Shock's assistance takes it to the Nonocons.

Robot Trek III

When Amphotron is defeated he retreats to the Nonocons secret base where they meet up with Secretish and Tri-Star who are attempting to combine the Matrix of Leadership with the Dark Matrix.

Robot Trek IV

The Fall and Rebirth of Gearatron

Behind the Scenes

Alan was a roommate from college and we did not part on great terms. He was a Jehovah-Witness and I was well... GAY. So sadly even though bonded early on Star Trek and other Sci-Fi, he couldn't get past his religious guidelines and this became an impassible barrier. As such when I rewrote Robot Trek II I had him become an enemy and he stole the Matrix of Leadership as Tri-Star. This becomes a keypoint for later stories. . This was a good example of turning a bad experience into something positive.
